A Chipotle-style Hawaiian food chain plans to open a restaurant in Houston next year.
California-based Pokeworks aims to open a location inside the 610 Loop for its first Texas restaurant in 2017, founding partner Kevin Hsu told the Houston Business Journal.
Pokeworks is also planning to open places around the U.S. in cities with "strong eating communities," Hsu said. Other cities include Seattle; San Jose, California; Chicago; and Washington, D.C., according to the company's website.
